Git

What can I say, if you know you know . . . I mean it's wonderful and I'm grateful but does it have to be so cryptic??

It's literally taken me about 3–4 months to have the courage to write my own commands . . . and I still do it 1 line at a time. Add, commit, push . . . but now I can at least diagnose my own missing " or the fact I forgot to write git commit . . . apparently just writing commit doesn't work . . . who would have thunk it . .

I now know && means "don't move onto the next command if this one isn't correct" but where \ goes still does my head in . . . hence the 1 line at a time procedure. It's just less stressful that way.

But if you are using git (and you should) and you just started writing your own commands you are my kind of people!!! Good on you!!! It felt like a huge milestone for me . . . (at this point I'm imagining devs shaking their head with pity . . . actually doubt any real devs are reading this so probably not . . .).

Anyway I know enough now to know I don't know much . . . which when I come to think about it pretty much describes everything about my coding journey . . . but add, commit, push . . . it's a start.
